Does anyone have problems with Sirius radio signal in parts of San Diego?

I just got a Sirius radio for my car about a week ago. I cannot get a signal in certain parts of San Diego. In particular, I live in Mission Valley and the radio cuts out so much in this area that it is completely unbearable to listen. On the contrary, I do get a strong signal in downtown SD near my office. But once I jump on the 163 North to drive home, it cuts out near the Washington Street exit like clockwork. Then I see the message "acquiring signal" intermittantly and I can't usually hear more than 2 seconds of music before it cuts out for 10. I called Sirius tech support and was told to give it a week because some "maintenance" is ongoing. I was just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced similar problems? If the situation does not improve, I plan to cancel my subscription and return the radio.

Atkins diet question?

i have been on the atkins diet for over a month now, i have droped down from a size 15 in pants to a size 11, but i also do 100 sit ups in the moning and 100 at night and walk 4 times a week. im also in collage and a mother of a 17 month old, so it takes eveything i have to keep up with what i am doing, has anyone else done this diet? how is it working for you. i would also like to add i stay away from the er, and oil even though atkins says it ok. i eat a lot of salid and chicken and not much else, i am pretty burned out on both of those things. i would love to have my rice cakes again, something i always thought was not too bad 4 you atkins says no about.also atkins says you should not be hungrey on this diet, yet i always am. i am happy about the weight loss,but i am soo sick of chicken, lunch meat, a piece of cheese here and there and hard boild eggs.

How do you determine a confidence level for two measurements with standard deviations?

Let's say you have two sets of data and you've fit them to a line and you'd like to give the confidence that the slopes of the lines are the same. Most fitting algorithms will provide an error for the slope, either from residuals or covariance or what have you. Any 'confidence' table I find (t-test, f-test, chi2, etc) needs the number of measurements/degrees of freedom to get the p-value. In the scenario I gave, I can understand how one could get the number of degrees of freedom (# data - fitting parameters), but what is the appropriate N? Is it different if you have a small or large set of data that you're fitting? Alternatively, what if all you have are the results of the fit, say 721 +/- 22 vs. 737 +/- 24. Shouldn't you be able to give a confidence estimate that they are the same or different?

I have an MLA formatted paper that has both a book and an essay by the same author. I'm having difficulty with my in-text citation and can use a little help. The book and essay are Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart, and the essay is An image of Africa:Racism in Conrad's Heart of Darkness. Would the book be quoted as (Things, 38) or just (38) or (Achebe 38) if I have mentioned the author by name? It is hard to compare the two, Pippen would probably be my choice to guard all of the guards you listed. However if they were big men I would choose Rodman. You forgot to mention that Rodman was the best rebounder on the team for the Bulls and was much more of a post player then Pippen was. Since they didn't really have the same style of play I think it is really hard to compare the two or to choose one. It would depend on what potion I needed to fill on who I choose.

Oh, man! That sounds awful! I highly doubt that cotton inherently has toxic qualities but I would ume that the lack of chemical usage on your sheets has affected the softness/sandpaper factor. I've never really had this problem so all I could suggest is washing them, or attempting to return them. Sorry.

not if you want it to grow up. That size tank will only last while its a baby. The local sporting goods store has a huge tank with one in it. I would say its about 1,000 gallons! But for home display I would say a 125gal at least! Most reputable fish supply stores will not even sell you a fish like that untill they are sure you have the propper set up.

His ads were still running. His saragates were still holding rallies. He said he'd suspend his campaign and not have the debate until a deal was made. Low and behold, once they got there, all the progress that they had made on a deal fell apart, because of the injection of presidencial campaign politics. Secondly, Obama doesn't want to loose a war, he just knows when to cut your losses. We'll be there forever if we're waiting for stablity in Iraq. We should've never been in Iraq in the first place. And if McCain really believed in country first, he'd have picked a more qualified running mate. He would've never picked a man with her resume and a BA in communications/journalism. Last year, I moved to a new high school and immediately became friends with this guy. As time went by, I found out that he went to the church down the hill which gave us more topics to talk about. I have a Biostar M&NCG 400 motherboard and on it I have a Sound Blaster Audigy sound card (PCI). The sound card screeches fiercely during some games. It does not screech when playing system sounds. I thought it was a wire from the fan resting on the sound card and emitting static but that is not it. Any ideas?

The Bears and Steelers have offensive line problems and it remains to be seen if Sanchez and Cutler can continue to play at the current level or revert to turnovers. The Packers have enough defense to pressure Cutler and he doesn't react well to that. When you get the dripping you need to leave the faucets on even overnight in order to keep the water flowing. The hole where you have the heater is somewhere after the freeze. see if you can follow it back some. It probably goes near an outside wall which is why it is freezing. Randomly when switching between HDMI to pc my screen on my pc suddenly became very bright with a slight grey/smokey haze. Text is slightly difficult to read and the colors are somewhat off. The screen is somewhat intense to look at. I've tried messing with Nvidia's control panel adjusting brightness, hue, contrast etc but the screen still has a haze it doesn't look right when displaying images. I've also updated the driver. There is nothing wrong with the monitor because my ps3 looks fine on the display. The GPU is EVGA Nvidia 8800GTS 512mb. Its only a year or two old and hasn't been running or making noises though. I've only experienced one BSOD recently

Is there a PECS schedule computer program?

We have a PECS board setup in my home for scheduling. My oldest son has begun using a computer. My mom is wayyyy too over protective when it comes to facebook. I've been grounded three times since April because of it. i will list them in order from largest to smallest: 1 sara comet, 2 bullhead catfish, 1 b, 2 plecostomus, 1 koi fish, 1 pictus catfish and 1 black fin shark. the fish all average about 6 inches or so which is plenty and large for my tank of only 10 gallons but i have a double filter for a 75 gallon tank so its a very busy but spotless tank! not to mention the 10 plus feeder minnows in there at any given time for the b and catfish to eat.

Fish-wise the tank is only big enough for a betta but you could probably add a couple of shrimp/small snails. A betta needs a heater and a filter and they are not a waste of money. You can get filters and heaters that will use much less power than a standard 60w lightbulb. I mean the heater on my 5 gallon is only 25 watts and the filter is a mere 2.5 watts

Ankle Sprain or broken?

I am unsure if my ankle is sprained of broken or sprained. I am able to put some weight on it but very painfully and I prefer not to put pressure on it. I did it two days ago and I did not feel extreme pain until today. It is very swollen. It happened when I jumped and my ankle twisted under my leg. I did not hear anything as to it was very noisy in the place I was. I have had an ace bandage on it but it is still very painfull even when I do not move it. PLease help.
