Trouble shoot oil heat steam heat boiler problem?

when iturn heat on via themostate it does not turn off at set prssure,infact it does not shut off,ihave toturn off by themostat,looks to me some wiring problem? some month back when i ws not using heat, a boiler man change the protectorelay ,because boiler was not working. how to check the connections?
