What makes organic SATEEN cotton bedsheets extremely rough, scratchy & ITCHY?

Oh, man! That sounds awful! I highly doubt that cotton inherently has toxic qualities but I would ume that the lack of chemical usage on your sheets has affected the softness/sandpaper factor. I've never really had this problem so all I could suggest is washing them, or attempting to return them. Sorry.
