When will i get my period? Anyone know?

I am 14 years old, I have yelloe/white discharge,pubic and underarm hair, mood-swings,,progressing development and i don't know if this is normal "heat flashes" i've heard of it in menopause but not in periods. I want to know if i will getting it soon. I seriously don't want it, my friends complain about it all the time. I just want to know if I should start taking a pad with me everywhere i go. Ooh and my mom got it the summer she was 14.
