Good mate for my betta without air pump / filter.?

Fish-wise the tank is only big enough for a betta but you could probably add a couple of shrimp/small snails. A betta needs a heater and a filter and they are not a waste of money. You can get filters and heaters that will use much less power than a standard 60w lightbulb. I mean the heater on my 5 gallon is only 25 watts and the filter is a mere 2.5 watts
