How do you respond when someone finds out you're single and says "I'm sorry"?

I would say"you shouldn't feel sorry for me b/c i'm in college. I have a bright future and lot going for me. I know someday I will meet the perfect guy so im not in a hurry." Those other two girls sound unstable so i wouldn't listen to them.
